Standard Features:

  • Pivoting : allows the needle to stop in down position and presser foot automatically lifts.
  • Floating Function: Prevent uneven seams by pressing the float button and sew with the presser foot slightly raised. This prevents those bunched up uneven seams and there is no need to push the layers of fabric. This is effective when quilting and sewing appliques. The height of the presser foot can be set from 0 to 2.5mm in increments of 0.1mm.

The Juki DX5 is a great “all in one sewing machine”. It has great features, you can sew from light to heavier materials, and a great price point.

Several of the features that stand out for this model is the pivoting feature, the floating function, speed control, 2-in-1 stitch plate, and a lock stitch button. Let’s not forget speed control, automatic thread trimmer and a bobbin winder.
