What it's Used For:

Get a close 1/8" seam allowance on topstitching and installing zippers.

• Hinged in the back to help with fluctuating layers. Perfect for sewing on the edge of zippers, pockets, and doing any kind of topstitching.
• Hinged means there is a spring in the back of the foot that allows it to apply more or less pressure as needed and will adjust. 
• This style foot is also available in a 2.5mm width. Which gets even closer, more like an 1/16th". Click here to see the 2.5mm option.
• This narrow foot is not ideal for consistent use while piecing as it does not make much contact with the feed dogs.
• This will not work on any computerized machines.
