What it's Used For:
This presser foot is used to help feed things like stretch fabrics, knits, bulkier materials like vinyl, cork, and faux leather as well as and unevenly and lofty fabrics like in quilting.
- This presser foot is equipped with an upper feed dog that works together with the feed dog of the sewing machine to feed the material in order to prevent bunched stitching and uneven feeding.
- On the back of the walking foot there is a white screw that can be loosen to attach the quilting guide bar.
- When working with synthetic materials like faux leather and vinyl always do a test sew to make sure you get no marks from the walking foot on the material and adjust presser foot pressure as needed.
