| Description | This presser foot is used for stabilizing stitching 0.03" (7 mm) to the left of a thick seam. A very common seam allowance in European patterns.
7mm is .27 of an inch, so this foot is ideal for sewing with thicker fabric or a heavy amount of fabric to achieve a seam that is a hair larger than a 1/4" seam. This foot is not ideal for working with thin fabrics. For thin fabrics use this.

Will perform the best with thin layers, like cotton, linen, and woven materials. For thicker layers like in bag making, or attaching binding on a quilt, we recommend this 1/4" presser foot.

With no guide, this foot is very versatile and can sew with heavy to thick fabrics. Simply follow the edge of the foot.
