This presser foot is used for piecing together patchwork with a seam allowance of 1/4″ (6.5 mm).
A true 1/4 inch seam allowance. THIS IS NOT SCANT.
This foot is very versatile since it does not have any guides, all you have to do to achieve that 1/4″ is follow the right side of the foot. Use it for thin fabrics, or thick. Pair it with a seam guide if you’d like for more accuracy. Such as this one.
