This Juki 3 Needle Coverstitch machine is perfect for hemming of sleeves and bottoms of t-shirts and the covering stitches for sportswear and knitwear. However, it is not a specific-purpose model, but can be used for a broad range of processes independently.  This machine includes a table, pedal, lamp and a high quality adjustable servo motor.

The The Juki DU- 1181N 1-Needle, Top and bottom-feed, Lockstitch Machine with Double- Capacity Hook.

With its powerful top and bottom feed mechanism, the machine smoothy feeds a difficult-to-feed material or a multi-layered part of material without pitch errors, achieving consistent seam quality. The higher lift of the presser foot lifts up to 15mm/ 0.59' making it ideal for bag making. The machine delivers increased productivity at a sewing speed as high as 2,000 SPM with an 18.78 x 7.008 inch throat.  The bobbin capacity is a double capacity hook not your typical standard size bobbin. Due to its optimum balance, this machine achieves low-vibration and low-noise, making it ideal for a comfortable work environment. In other words this machine is wonderful for a home environment or a shop. The stitch pitch can be adjusted in both the normal and reverse directions. The height and inclination of the feed dog can be adjusted. The amount of the alternating vertical movement of the walking foot and presser foot is adjusted in a range from 2 to 5mm according to the height of a multi-layered section of material. The horizontal feed cam, top and bottom feed cam, and top feed cam can be adjusted after opening the rubber caps (three caps) in top of the machine head. Purchase Bobbins HERE

Recommended for:  Pliable leather, vinyl, faux, and medium weight fabrics.

With the top and bottom feed technology, the presser foot aids in pulling the fabric, allowing for medium weight materials to be sewn more easily. This machine works great for bag making, wallets, and the type of project your domestic machine cannot handle. Not recommended for upholstery materials, or real thick leather. This machine is not for light weight materials. This product weighs 250 pounds, machine comes disassembled.  All you have to do is add the belt to the motor, assemble spool holder and tension dials.  Additionally,  machine needs to be dropped into table with safety clips.
