This foot has a guide in the middle to help guide you in the ditch of the seam for fast and secure quilting and topstitching of products. Not all projects need crazy fancy quilting, and if you are just starting out this a great tool to use to help get your projects quilted and secure. Perfect for any beginners who are just learning to quilt as well. With a spring on the left, it adjusts to fluctuating thickness of fabric. This foot is high shank, and is all metal and will not work on any computerized machines.
