This presser foot is used for piecing together patchwork with a seam allowance 7mm .27 of an inch (just a hair over a 1/4″ seam). This is for only the HZL-NX series.

  • Always ensure the needle is set to center straight stitch. Align the edge of the fabric with the presser foot to easily sew with a seam allowance of 7 mm.
  • Since the needle drops into the small round opening, the seam is stabilized to create a perfect single stitch.
