What it's Used For:

This is the sensor found under the needle plate that lets the machine know the difference between the straight stitch plate and the standard stitch plate. 

• If your machine is not reading the difference between the two plates, or is stuck in one mode, your sensor may be damaged. 
• This will fit the DX-4000QVP, DX-3000QVP, and NX7.
