Outstanding machine, and excellent customer service! I hesitantly purchased my machine online, but I had absolutely nothing to worry about with Juki Junkies. They called me before shipping to make sure my address was correct, and they adjusted the tension before sending the Juki. The machine came with a bobbin full of thread and a spool of thread, so it took no time at all to start sewing. Love the instructional videos on YouTube…so helpful. I have to admit I haven't really put my JUKI TL-18QVP through its paces yet, but I must comment on my customer service experience. I was hesitant to purchase a sewing machine (generally known for their finickiness!) from a seller so far away from me. However, I heard such glowing reviews about Juki Junkies, thought their videos were excellent, and had such a wonderful phone conversation with the store when I was in the research phase that I went ahead and bit the bullet. Oh my goodness, what a fortuitous decision! My JUKI TL-18QVP happened to be the one in a zillion with an obscure out-of-the-box issue that I didn't notice right away because *I didn't get brave enough to set up my machine for five months*! Regardless of the time lapse, the shop helped me pinpoint the problem, sent the new part (pedal) ASAP, and got me up and running in great time. I'm so happy with my decision to purchase from Juki Junkies and with my customer service experience. (BTW the little bit I've sewn so far with this machine is beautiful. The even stitching is GORGEOUS!)
I have a TL-18QVP. It has the power I need for free motion quilting, piecing, bag making, and all my unconventional sewing projects. I am an occupational therapy assistant at a long term care facility and am constantly asked to problem solve from sewing and extra strap with webbing to secure a cushion to a wheelchair, upholster a custom foot box so a resident can safely sit in their power chair, or bags for walkers with novelty fabric so residents can better identify their walkers. I use the specialty feet that came with it all the time. The fact that it is a mechanical machine, I feel confident that with Juki Junkies support I can handle most repairs (thought after 4 years, this work horse has never given me an issue.) For a mechanical machine, I still feel confident to take it with me 3 times a year to quilt retreats and now monthly as I start to teach bagmaking classes. If anyone has machine problems in class, I know my tl18qvp can handle the thickness and my students can complete their projects. The speed control, thread cutter, and micro lifter are all features I cant do without.
The TL18 is an incredible sewing machine. Everytime I sit down in front of it to sew, I am blown away by how beautifully it stitches. There isn't a project I haven't been able to handle on this machine. The microliter helps me get over some thicker seams, from vinyl to multiple layers on interfaced materials. This is hands down the best machine I have owned!

I couldn' t decide between the Juki DX7 and the TL18QVP, so I bought them both from Juki Junkies! I'm sure glad I did! This little workhorse will sew through thick layers like butter as fast or slow as you like and has beautiful stitches. It winds bobbins better than the DX7. It does require a little easy maintenance with each use. I like how durable & simple it is. I use the DX7 to sew on quilt bindings & fancy stitches, but the TL18 is my main machine. Love both machines - I call them my twins.
I love my TL18QVP. I had other brands and it was always hard to get perfect stitches. Right out of the box this machine sews without any issues and the support of the owner and her team is unbelievable.
