• Suggested Applications: This needle still glides between fibers like a regular ball point, but with more precision. With the fine tip of this needle it works great with fine knits, lycra, fleece, as well as woven cottons. We find this needle works very well with batiks as well. 

Size 16 needles are ideal for simple quilts such as panels. Where there are not many seams in one area. It has a fair amount of simple piecing.
