What it's Used For:
This foot is used for getting an accurate 7mm seam allowance on all weights of fabrics.
- This foot creates an accurate 7mm by following the edge of the foot. No guide allows you to be able to use this foot on both thick and thin layers.
- 7mm = 0.27" meanings its just over a 1/4". 7mm is a very common seam allowance in Europe and other countries.
- Hinged means there is a spring in the back of the foot that allows it to apply more or less pressure as needed and will adjust to fluctuating layers.
