Gidget I vs Gidget II:

While both tables offer a manually adjustable lift system to lower the machine into the table, custom insert compatibility based on your machine’s size, steel locking legs for stability, a compact design for easy storage and mobility, a measuring decal, and an MDF and melamine top, there are some key differences to consider when deciding which one to purchase:

Gidget I:

  • Lighter and more affordable. Ideal for lighter weight machines.
  • Holds up to 35 lbs sewing machines.
  • Sewing machine opening is: 17 ⅜” W × 7 ½” D.

Gidget II:

  • Studier build, with a steel base to minimize vibrations while sewing.
  • Hold up to 55 lbs sewing machines.
  • Sewing machine opening is: 23 ¾” W × 12 ½” D.
  • Has 2 wheels for easier mobility and portability.

Cabinet Details:

Sewing Machine Custom Insert Details:

Your sewing machine must be at least 1" smaller on all sides than the machine opening for the custom insert to fit properly. If your machine is equal to or larger than the opening dimensions, it will not fit.

If you're ordering a custom acrylic sewing insert, this 1" clearance is also required to ensure a proper fit. The insert will ship separately.

All Juki TL machines, and all the computerized machines will fit inside of the drop down but will not give you enough room for an insert to make your work area flush. Shipping Information:

  • Arrow Sewing determines shipping carrier (FedEx or UPS) - this is a drop shipped item.
  • Sewing furniture cannot be shipped to a PO Box.
  • Gidget II Sewing Table will arrive fully assembled.
  • If ordered, custom acrylic sewing inserts will be shipped separately and delivered later than sewing furniture.
