This ruler is  8 1/2" wide so you can cut wider strips and squares, but also has all of the features you’ve come to love in our Creative Grids® Rulers. It features easy-to-read black and white markings in a 1" grid, with additional 1/8" and 1/4" increments for precise measurements. White horizontal and vertical lines mark the center of the ruler, making it easy to fussy-cut stripes and borders.

The 1/4" dashed lines printed on two adjoining sides help trim seam allowances, while an additional black 45-degree line intersects 1/4" from the outer edge, ideal for squaring up flying geese units, squares set on point, and marking crosshatching. The exclusive Turn-a-Round feature allows for cutting in 1/2" increments by following the white numbers on black dots and the 1/2" grip sides.
