The Aussie Sewing Cabinet is a signature, full-size sewing cabinet from Kangaroo Sewing Furniture highlighted by over 31 square feet of sewing worksurface and a 3-position sewing lift (available with hydraulic or electric lift hardware) for free arm and flatbed sewing!

The Aussie Sewing Cabinet features a rolling storage caddy, perfect for storing a serger or other sewing notions, that moves to multiple preset configurations for a customizable workstation.

Product Details:

  • 3-position hydraulic lift allows you to go between free arm, flatbed, and storage position.
  • Compatible with custom acrylic sewing inserts to create a totally flush sewing surface.
  • Large lift opening accommodates most standard sewing machines on the market, up to 55lb.
  • Rear quilt leaf expands work surface to keep large projects from pulling or laying on floor.
  • Pull out caddy provides secondary workstation for serger.

 

  • Includes wood panel to place over sewing well, increasing workspace when machine is in storage position.
  • Locking doors for safety and security.
  • Caddy includes 2 drawers and capacity to store serger and notions.
  • 3 door bins (1 large and 2 small), to store notions, thread and accessories.
  • Sturdy design with locking heavy-duty casters for stability and easy mobility.

 

Sewing Machine Insert Details:

Your sewing machine must be at least 1" smaller on all sides than the machine opening for the custom insert to fit properly. If your machine is equal to or larger than the opening dimensions, it will not fit.

If you're ordering a custom acrylic sewing insert, this 1" clearance is also required to ensure a proper fit. The insert will ship separately.

All Juki TL machines, and all the computerized machines will fit inside of the drop down but will not give you enough room for an insert to make your work area flush. Shipping Information:

  • Arrow Sewing determines shipping carrier (FedEx or UPS) - this is a drop shipped item.
  • Sewing furniture cannot be shipped to a PO Box.
  • Aussie Sewing Cabinet will arrive in 5 boxes.
  • If ordered, custom acrylic sewing inserts will be shipped separately and delivered later than sewing furniture.
  • Shipping is free for the cabinet unassembled.
  • White glove service ships fully assembled, please contact us to see if your address qualifies.
