What it's Used For:

This needle plate is used for straight stitching only. 

• You cannot use this plate to do any decorative stitching.
• This needle plate is also helpful for working with thin fabrics that may get sucked in while sewing. With the hole being much smaller, fabric getting stuck in the needle plate is minimized. 
• * Please note for category A you will need to use this plate with the straight stitch feed dogs as well as the straight stitch presser foot.
