What it's Used For:

This presser foot is used for free motion quilting with rulers.

• When doing ruler work, your foot needs to have a wall for the ruler to be aligned with to protect it from hitting the needle. The front of the presser foot has a small lowered section to help have better visibility.
• The distance from the needle to the edge of the foot will give you a ¼" seam allowance. 
• This foot does not have a spring, you will need to adjust your presser foot height for different thickness of quilts.
• *Please note the machines listed in Category B can use Category A's part but you will have to use an adaptor shank.
• *Category B's presser foot is clear and can only be used on the listed machines.
