The The Juki DU- 1181N 1-Needle, Top and bottom-feed, Lockstitch Machine with Double- Capacity Hook.

With its powerful top and bottom feed mechanism, the machine smoothy feeds a difficult-to-feed material or a multi-layered part of material without pitch errors, achieving consistent seam quality.

The higher lift of the presser foot lifts up to 15mm/ 0.59′ making it ideal for bag making.

The machine delivers increased productivity at a sewing speed as high as 2,000 SPM with an 18.78 x 7.008 inch throat. 

The bobbin capacity is a double capacity hook not your typical standard size bobbin.

Due to its optimum balance, this machine achieves low-vibration and low-noise, making it ideal for a comfortable work environment. In other words this machine is wonderful for a home environment or a shop.

The stitch pitch can be adjusted in both the normal and reverse directions.

The height and inclination of the feed dog can be adjusted.

The amount of the alternating vertical movement of the walking foot and presser foot is adjusted in a range from 2 to 5mm according to the height of a multi-layered section of material.

The horizontal feed cam, top and bottom feed cam, and top feed cam can be adjusted after opening the rubber caps (three caps) in top of the machine head.

With the top and bottom feed technology, the presser foot aids in pulling the fabric, allowing for medium weight materials to be sewn more easily.

This machine works great for bag making, wallets, and the type of project your domestic machine cannot handle. Not recommended for upholstery materials, or real thick leather. This machine is not for light weight materials.

This product weighs 250 pounds, machine comes disassembled. 

All you have to do is add the belt to the motor, assemble spool holder and tension dials.  Additionally,  machine needs to be dropped into table with safety clips.

JUKI NA-11/NA-11UT Direct-drive, 1-needle, Top and Bottom-feed, Lockstitch Machine with Double-capacity Hook

  • Needle thread clamping device

    The needle thread device is standard equipment. As a result, the needle thread at the start of sewing does not come out on the cloth, so the start of sewing beautiful finished seams. Operators use scissors less often and can prevent damage to the material caused by thread picking.

  • Increased productivity by improved operability

    The machine achieves a longer distance from machine arm to needle by adopting a high long arm. This means the machine dramatically increases workability when sewing large products such as sofas and car seats.

  • The direct drive system and the operation panel

    The sewing machine has been integrated with the control box and the operation panel for ease of use. The direct-drive motor system has been adopted by all of the sewing machine. This sewing machine is provided with a high-torque direct-drive motor that supports heavy-weight materials. Thanks to this motor, the sewing machine achieves excellent responsiveness and maintains strong material-penetrating power even when sewing multi-layered parts of material.

  • LED Light

    The LED light is located on the underside of the arm jaw. It reduces operator fatigue and improves work efficiency. It is provided as standard for all models of the NA-11 Series.

  • Feeding mechanism

    The machine’s powerful top & bottom feed demonstrates its performance when sewing leather and heavy fabric. The lift of the presser foot is as high as 16 mm, which responds to the sewing of bucky materials.

  • Horizontal-axis full-rotary double-capacity hook

    The adoption of the horizontal-axis double-capacity hook helps reduce the frequency of bobbin thread replacement, thereby promising sewing work with efficiency. This hook is also helpful not only when sewing with thick thread but also when sewing a long seam length.

  • Mechanism of automatic thread trimmer (NA-11UT)

    The automatic thread trimmer achieves consistent thread trimming regardless of thickness of the thread, i.e., from thin to thick thread. The machine has adopted the rotary thread trimming mechanism which matches, in particular, design stitch with thick thread for furniture and bags. The automatic thread trimmer improves workability and increases productivity. When compared with the sewing machine without a thread trimmer, the NA-11UT substantially decreases the consumption of thread. The knife pressure can be adjusted with the adjusting screw.

1-Needle, Unison Feed, Lockstitch Machine With Vertical-axis Large Hook

The maximum stitch length is 10mm. The complete rectangular feed locus enables accurate feed of extra heavy materials while preventing stitch gathering. With its sufficient needle bar stroke of 38mm and long 190R needle, the compound feed machine supports the sewing of extra heavy materials. The walking foot machine comes with an extra-large steel handwheel with a diameter as large as φ175.

A new feed mechanism with a rectangular feeding motion prevents stitch gathering

The new mechanism with a rectangular feeding motion promises consistent feed of materials of all thickness without stitch gathering. The lower orbit of the feed dog prevents the material from flopping and reduces operating noise and vibration.

The alternating vertical movement mechanism prevents irregular stitches

The machine has adopted a new mechanism that does not change the ratio of alternate vertical movement of the walking foot and presser foot even when the material thickness changes. Even when a heavy-weight material is used, the presser foot lift does not decrease. This means that the presser foot comes into contact with the material at exactly the same time that it does when sewing lighter-weight sections of the material. As a result, the walking foot retains the material with a consistent pressure to prevent irregular stitches. The amount of the alternating vertical movement of the walking foot and presser foot can be adjusted up to the maximum of 6.5mm according to the height of multilayered portions of the material.

Consistent seam quality

With the adoption of a new rectangular feed mechanism, an alternating vertical movement mechanism, and a unison feed mechanism, the machine can feed heavy materials powerfully and smoothly. Well tensed seams are consistently produced without pitch errors. With its maximum stitch length of 9mm, the machine can be applied to a broader range of uses.

The 1-needle type machine has adopted a dual-tension mechanism, with which the machine can support high-tension sewing with thick thread. This means that the machine produces seams of excellent quality on a broader range of materials, extending from light- to heavy-weight.

The highly efficient vertical-axis double-capacity hook is equipped as standard

With the adoption of this vertical-axis double-capacity hook, the frequency of bobbin thread changing is reduced, promising sewing work of increased efficiency.

Improved operability

The stitch length can be easily selected by the stitch dial. The machine is provided with many improved features that offer enhanced operability such as an easy-to-observe area around the needle, placement of the bobbin winder on the front face of the machine arm, and a large handwheel (φ160). A knee-lifter mechanism is built in the bed. This reduces the pressure required to operate the knee-lifter and facilitates setup. (Machines equipped with automatic thread trimmer are excluded.) The machine is a full-open-type top design that makes it possible to fully open the top of the machine arm. Thanks to this design, adjusting works can be done without tilting the machine head. The machine is equipped as standard with a safety clutch for preventing hook breakage. Reset work can be done simply by pressing a button.

The Juki DDL-8700 High-speed Single Needle Straight Lockstitch Industrial Sewing Machine with Table and Servo Motor

Newly designed machine head that was developed in pursuit of beauty, This machine inherits desirable features, such as high-speed stitching performance 5,500SPM, extreme stitching performance, ease of operation, and reliability, from the highly evaluated previous JUKI lockstitch machines. The higher lift of the presser foot lifts up to 13mm/ 0.512" making it ideal for medium weight and lightweight fabrics. Exceptional for tailors, fashion designers, and dressmakers.
