This foot is your standard foot that comes with your machine, already installed out the box. And actually gives you a SCANT 1/4". Making it just shy of a true 1/4".

• With a distance of 1/4" (6.5mm) from the 1/4" needle entry point to the outer edge of the presser foot, sew using a ruler as a guide. The front of the presser foot is lowered, making it easier to see the needle area.

• Use the screw to adjust the height of the presser foot according to the thickness of the fabric.
