Did You Know…

  1. This little lint brush should be here! It’s actually the only lint that SHOULD live in your Juki HZL-DX7 .

Just be very gentle around this little guy when you are cleaning under the plate.

Do not pluck at it, or take it out! Keep it there. IF you happen to remove it, it’s not the end of the world. But, it does play a big role in ensuring the thread slides smoothly when you are using the thread cutter.

With each cut, it glides through the little brush to prevent bunching before the new stitch out. If you have lost yours, you may notice MORE thread bunching underneath at the start of a sew out. You cannot replace this lint brush BUT you can bring up your bobbin thread to the top before sewing to avoid any bunching.

Did You Know…

  1. The foot can be programmed! You have up to 7 different functions to choose from. And if you don’t want it to do anything at all, that’s an option too.

Lets go over the options real quick!

Option #What it does:
1Reverse Stitch
2Lock Stitch
3Needle Up & Down
4Single Stitch
5Presser Foot Up or Down
6Thread Cutter
7Turn Off the Heel Function on the Pedal

Did You Know…

  1. The Juki HZL-DX7 has an optional thread stand you can purchase to attach to the back of machine to be able to sew with large spools of thread. Watch the tutorial below!

If you’re looking to add a thread stand, there are two screws location on the backside of your Juki HZL-DX7 . Assemble the thread stand, screw it into place and BOOM, you are now able to use any large spools of thread with no issue! Totally need one? Purchase it here!
