Description

Chrome plated Universal needle resists heat and wear. The needle stays cooler with less stitch distortion. Thread passes through the eye with less friction. Chrome allows the needle to penetrate through fabric with less resistance. With a slightly rounded point, the Universal needle sews woven and knit fabrics.

Schmetz Universal Needles use systems 15 X 1, 130R, HAx1, PF130, HAx1GT, HAx1SP, SY2020, HAx1ST, and SY2031.

    • Size 16 is recommended for Juki  longarms with Glide 40 for quilts with panels, blocks and normal seams. Size 18 is recommended for heavier seams that will have more density such as a Lonestar Quilt. Size 14 is not a recommended size for longarms.
