Features:

Sewing capabilities and feed performance that respond to a broad range of uses in the sewing of
heavy materials. With its larger needle bar stroke, larger lift of the presser foot, and newly adopted
double-tension mechanism, the machine sews beautifully with thick threads (low count thread) and at
higher thread tensions. This allows the machine to sew a broad range of heavy materials.

The Space Saver Stand options allows the machine bed to stick out from the left hand side of the table allowing an opening or free arm advantage. This table is 20 x 27.

The newly developed mode of highly rigid rectangular feed guarantees outstanding feed performance.

multi-layered parts of the material consistently and without stitch gathering.
The machine is equipped as standard with a mechanism to correct uneven material feed by
making-micro adjustments to the bottom-feed. Compared with the elliptical feed, the rectangular feed
helps reduce gathered stitches.

The slimmed-down throat plate easily adjusts to the sewing of small tubular articles with diameters as small as φ40mm. This enhances the machine’s ability to smoothly sew not only bags and shoes, but also small article such as wallets. Juki LU-1560N: The ideal machine for car seats, sofas, golf carts and even bags; two continuous stitches side by side a 1/4"

The Juki LU-1560N unique feed mechanism promises excellent efficiency of feed. In addition to the standard models of 2-needle machines, other models intended for special purposes are available, one having a thread trimmer. The machine is applicable to an extended range of heavy materials for industrial use, such as cargo handling belts and containers, as well as those for industrial use, such as cargo handling belts and containers, as well as those for general use, such as car seats, sofas and bags, thereby contributing to both improved quality and increased productivity.

The higher lift of the presser foot lifts up to 16mm by knee and 9mm by hand making ideal for heavy layers of material. The machine delivers increased productivity at a sewing speed as high as 2,500 Stitches per minute  with a throat space of 517mm×178mm.

Improved Provability for the Juki LU-1650N

  • The stitch length can be easily selected by the stitch dial.
  • The machine is provided with many improved features that offer enhanced operability such as an easy-to-observe area around the needle, placement of the bobbin winder on the front face of the machine arm, and a large handwheel (φ160).
  • A knee-lifter mechanism is built in the bed. This reduces the pressure required to operate the knee-lifter and facilitates setup. (Machines equipped with automatic thread trimmer are excluded.)
  • The machine is full-open-type top design makes it possible to fully open the top of the machine arm. Thanks to this design, adjusting works can be done without tilting the machine head.
  • The machine is equipped as standard with a safety clutch for preventing hook breakage. Reset work can be done simply by pressing a button.

The area around the needle entry is designed to be easily observed (LU-1560N-7, LU-1561N-7)

Since the needle thread tension-release solenoid is fitted on the rear face of the machine head, the area around the needle entry and one-touch type reverse feed button is easily viewable. This substantially contributes to improved operability.

The walking foot and presser foot's alternating vertical movement can be set and changed with ease (LU-1560N-7, LU-1561N-7)

  • The vertical strokes of the presser foot and walking foot (their alternating vertical movement) can be easily changed using a large dial mounted on the top surface of the machine head.
  • In addition the sewing speed is automatically adjusted with the set value. With this feature, ideal sewing conditions are maintained at all times.
  • The machine is equipped with an instantaneous changeover device for alternating the vertical movement amount of the walking foot and presser foot, which demonstrates its capability for processes involving sewing products with a lot of multi-layered portions.

A helpful automatic reverse feed function is provided as standard (LU-1560N-7, LU-1561N-7)

  • With just a light press on the one-touch type reverse feed button, reverse feed stitching is actuated. Furthermore if a suspended ruler is attached on the machine or a 3-dimensional sewing product is sewn, the button can be shifted upward to prevent interruption.
  • The auto-lifter (pedal switch type) helps to increase efficiency by reducing operator fatigue.

Thread trimming without fail (LU-1560N-7, LU-1561N-7)

The machine leaves a shorter needle thread after thread trimming, improving thread consumption efficiency. With a rigid knife and improved cam shape, the thread trimmer cuts thread as thick as #5 without fail.

  • Bottom-feed micro-adjustment mechanism is provided as standard (LU-1510N-7, LU-1511N-7)

    The 1-needle type machine is equipped with a bottom-feed micro-adjustment mechanism with the needle feed amount fixed. This helps prevent irregular stitches which are free from pitch errors.

DDL-9000C Series

Direct-drive, high-speed, sewing system with automatic thread trimmer

Commitment to “seam quality” is poised to enter a new era with JUKI’s next-generation sewing system. The change is driven by digitalization. Until recently, sewing machines have been adjusted by human operators based on personal hunches and experience. Now, with JUKI's digital sewing system DDL-9000C, sewing machine adjustments are fully digitalized. The settings can be reproduced with total accuracy to perfectly suit the materials being sewn.

Vertically- and horizontally-driven digital feed mechanism

Thanks to the world's first vertically-driven digital feed mechanism, the feed dog height can be adjusted with ease according to the material fabric of product to be sewn, thereby improving seam quality. Thanks to this digital feed mechanism, thread trimming is carried out with the feed dog lowered in the case the shorter-thread remaining thread trimming function is enabled. As a result, the clearance provided between the throat plate and the material is eliminated, thereby stabilizing the length of thread remaining after thread trimming. The feed dog does not protrude the top surface of throat plate when the sewing machine stops with its needle bar up, thereby facilitating placement/removal of the material on/from the top surface of throat plate and preventing the material from being damaged by the feed dog.

Various kinds of feed locus can be selected.

Digitalized vertically- and horizontally-driven feed mechanism allows easy adjustment of settings such as the feed locus only on the operation panel according to the material to be sewn.

Digital functions which accentuate excellent "seam" quality

Ⅰ. Adoption of the needle-thread active tension - Needle tension is digitally controlled
Needle thread tension which matches sewing conditions given can be set on the operation panel and stored in memory. The needle thread tension adjustment needs experience. However, for this the DDL-900C, thread tension data stored in memory is reproducible, thereby reducing the setup time when the product to be sewn is changed. Example: Needle-thread active tension demonstrates its effectiveness in the topstitching process. For welting shoulders of a difficult-to-sew material, uniform stitches can be produced continuously by appropriately changing the sewing conditions even if the right and left material fabric differ in texture grain.
Ⅱ. Active presser foot pressure mechanism - The presser foot pressure is digitally controlled
The DDL-9000C has a digital control system that controls the presser foot pressure. Under the automatic mode, the multi-layered section detection function detects changes in material thickness to increase/decrease the presser foot pressure accordingly. Under the manual mode, the presser foot pressure control function is assigned to the hand switch to enable operation with the hand switch.
Ⅲ. Needle thread clamp
The device clamps the needle thread and draws it under the material at the beginning of sewing. The needle thread clamp device works to reduce the size of thread tangling in on the wrong side of the material. This expands the area around the needle entry, thereby allowing the use of various gauge components.

Management of sewing performance and the DDL-9000C sewing machine by the utilization of IoT (Internet of Things)

Management, browsing and editing of data can be carried out on the application software

Data on the DDL-9000C sewing machine adjustments made according to the product to be sewn can be transferred to a commercially-available Android tablet in contactless mode. This enables quick check for uniform settings as well as confirmation of conditions of sewing machines in a sewing line, thereby facilitating setup changes. The operation panel is also provided as standard with a USB port. Data management and software update can be carried out with ease using a USB thumb drive. Data items of sewing can be numerically managed to ensure "stable quality" and "reduction in time required for setup changes". Quantified sewing data can be externally taken from the sewing machine using an Android tablet or USB thumb drive.

LED Light on the DDL-9000C

The LED light illuminates the needle entry area in the just-under direction from the right and left sides of the needle bar. In comparison with the single-direction illumination, this LED light helps the operator carry out sewing more easily. Illuminance of the LED light is adjustable in five levels. It can also be used as an auxiliary lamp for working.
