Juki MO-6814S - 4 Thread High-speed Overlock Industrial Serger with Table, Stand and Servo Motor

The machine achieves beautifully finished seams of improved quality even when run at a high speed.

The machine is widely applicable to the sewing of light (like silk, chiffon, lace)- to heavier materials (2-3 layers of 2 ply denim). Since the machine is provided with a needle thread take-up mechanism and a looper thread take-up lever, it ensures high-quality, well-tensed and soft seams with a beautiful texture which flexibly correspond to the elasticity of the materials even when run at speeds as high as 7,000 sti/min. In addition, the machine has a wider and brighter needle entry and provides improved responsiveness to the materials, thereby helping the operator use the machine more easily. The magnetic core of the bobbin provides an even tension that is consistent from beginning to end. No more manual adjustments of tension as your bobbin gets smaller! The magnetic core also prevents backlash and over-spin as well. Because Magna-Glide uses Glide 40wt. colors, your top and bottom are a perfect match; just refer to your Glide Color Chart to coordinate your colors. One of the best parts about these bobbins is that they are virtually lint free so you can spend more time sewing and less time cleaning your machine. Because the bobbin is a Style L, this makes the bobbin compatible with almost all sewing machines, especially our Juki computerized and mechanical machines. For the best use, please take these into consideration:
  • Colors may appear differently on the computer than they do in person. Please refer to the Glide Color Chart for the most accurate color reference.
  • Make sure the magnet side of the bobbin is inserted down into the care for accurate use.
  • Remember to remove the check spring from the metal bobbin before using. Failure to do so may lead to tension issues and thread breaks.

The Juki DDL-8700 High-speed Single Needle Straight Lockstitch Industrial Sewing Machine with Table and Servo Motor

Newly designed machine head that was developed in pursuit of beauty, This machine inherits desirable features, such as high-speed stitching performance 5,500SPM, extreme stitching performance, ease of operation, and reliability, from the highly evaluated previous JUKI lockstitch machines. The higher lift of the presser foot lifts up to 13mm/ 0.512" making it ideal for medium weight and lightweight fabrics. Exceptional for tailors, fashion designers, and dressmakers. The machine has a 10.5 inch throat.  The 110-volt servo motor isn’t only quieter and powerful but stitching speed can be controlled by a variable rheostat dial with a span from 0 to 3300 RPM. DDL 8700 - Timing is for a size 9-18 needle.  16x257 needle system (thinner shank needle) DDL 8700H -Timing is for size 16-22. 135x5 needle system (thicker needle shank). Comes with Heavier feed dogs, heavier stitch plate,  larger foot and   higher needle stroke.  

Recommended for:  Light to medium weight fabrics.  The heaviest would be 3 layers of denim. Perfect for quilters that would to piece with speed. 

  This Juki DDL-8700 works great for alterations and dress making.

This product weighs 28 Ibs, machine comes disassembled.  The machine provides a great amount of arm space . Therefore, you will never feel limited when performing a stitch task. This also will enable you to complete larger and spacious sewing tasks. The machine unit includes a dual-spool thread stand and an individually installed bobbin winder. The unit includes a great knee lifter at the bottom that can be utilized to lower or raise the foot. All you have to do is add the belt to the motor, assemble spool holder and tension dials.  Additionally,  machine needs to be dropped into table with safety clips. Returns: Due to the delivery and size of the machine returns are not accepted.  Variations: Due to the nature of industrial sewing machines table colors may vary. Disclaimer: Industrial machines are tough, but due to their weight there may be some minor scratches on the head or the table during shipping. This is normal when shipping industrial sewing machines.
