This machine inherits desirable features, such as high-speed stitching performance 5,500SPM, extreme stitching performance, ease of operation, and reliability, from the highly evaluated previous JUKI lockstitch machines.

The higher lift of the presser foot lifts up to 13mm/ 0.512″ making it ideal for medium weight and lightweight fabrics. Exceptional for tailors, fashion designers, and dressmakers.

The machine has a 10.5 inch throat. 

The 110-volt servo motor isn’t only quieter and powerful but stitching speed can be controlled by a variable rheostat dial with a span from 0 to 3300 RPM.

DDL 8700 – Timing is for a size 9-18 needle.  16×257 needle system (thinner shank needle)

DDL 8700H -Timing is for size 16-22. 135×5 needle system (thicker needle shank). Comes with Heavier feed dogs, heavier stitch plate,  larger foot and   higher needle stroke.

 

Recommended for:  Light to medium weight fabrics.  The heaviest would be 3 layers of denim. Perfect for quilters that would to piece with speed.

This product weighs 28 Ibs, machine comes disassembled. 

The machine provides a great amount of arm space . Therefore, you will never feel limited when performing a stitch task. This also will enable you to complete larger and spacious sewing tasks.

The machine unit includes a dual-spool thread stand and an individually installed bobbin winder.

The unit includes a great knee lifter at the bottom that can be utilized to lower or raise the foot.

All you have to do is add the belt to the motor, assemble spool holder and tension dials.  Additionally,  machine needs to be dropped into table with safety clips.

System 134R is generally used in single needle lockstitch industrial sewing machines. These needles are used with Juki Longarm machines including sit downs (Miyabi J-350QVP, Miyabi QVP S, and TL-2200QVP and TL-2200QVP S).

Juki MO-6814S - 4 Thread High-speed Overlock Industrial Serger with Table, Stand and Servo Motor

1-Needle, Unison Feed, Lockstitch Machine With Vertical-axis Large Hook

The maximum stitch length is 10mm. The complete rectangular feed locus enables accurate feed of extra heavy materials while preventing stitch gathering. With its sufficient needle bar stroke of 38mm and long 190R needle, the compound feed machine supports the sewing of extra heavy materials. The walking foot machine comes with an extra-large steel handwheel with a diameter as large as φ175.

The new mechanism with a rectangular feeding motion promises consistent feed of materials of all thickness without stitch gathering. The lower orbit of the feed dog prevents the material from flopping and reduces operating noise and vibration.

The alternating vertical movement mechanism prevents irregular stitches

The machine has adopted a new mechanism that does not change the ratio of alternate vertical movement of the walking foot and presser foot even when the material thickness changes. Even when a heavy-weight material is used, the presser foot lift does not decrease. This means that the presser foot comes into contact with the material at exactly the same time that it does when sewing lighter-weight sections of the material. As a result, the walking foot retains the material with a consistent pressure to prevent irregular stitches. The amount of the alternating vertical movement of the walking foot and presser foot can be adjusted up to the maximum of 6.5mm according to the height of multilayered portions of the material.

With the adoption of a new rectangular feed mechanism, an alternating vertical movement mechanism, and a unison feed mechanism, the machine can feed heavy materials powerfully and smoothly. Improved operability

The stitch length can be easily selected by the stitch dial. The machine is provided with many improved features that offer enhanced operability such as an easy-to-observe area around the needle, placement of the bobbin winder on the front face of the machine arm, and a large handwheel (φ160). A knee-lifter mechanism is built in the bed. This reduces the pressure required to operate the knee-lifter and facilitates setup. (Machines equipped with automatic thread trimmer are excluded.) The machine is a full-open-type top design that makes it possible to fully open the top of the machine arm. Thanks to this design, adjusting works can be done without tilting the machine head. The machine delivers increased productivity at a sewing speed as high as 2,000 SPM with an 18.78 x 7.008 inch throat.  The bobbin capacity is a double capacity hook not your typical standard size bobbin. Due to its optimum balance, this machine achieves low-vibration and low-noise, making it ideal for a comfortable work environment. In other words this machine is wonderful for a home environment or a shop. The stitch pitch can be adjusted in both the normal and reverse directions. The height and inclination of the feed dog can be adjusted. The amount of the alternating vertical movement of the walking foot and presser foot is adjusted in a range from 2 to 5mm according to the height of a multi-layered section of material.
